Rodrigues' maiden ODI century formed the foundation of India's dominant 116-run victory over Ireland in the second women's ODI on Sunday, giving India an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
India posted a massive 370/5, with Rodrigues scoring 102 off 91 balls, supported by solid contributions from Smriti Mandhana (73 off 54 balls), Pratika Rawal (67 off 61 balls), and Harleen Deol (89 off 84 balls).
The team capitalized on Ireland’s sub-par bowling attack, with the Indian batters hitting 44 boundaries and three sixes. The partnership between Mandhana and Rawal (156 runs off 19 overs) and Rodrigues and Deol (183 runs off 28 overs) laid the groundwork for an overwhelming total.
