LUCENA CITY — A motorcycle rider died while another was injured on Christmas day after their vehicle bumped into a parked truck in San Narciso town in Quezon province, the police said.
Motorcyclist “Leonard,”19, and his pillion rider, “Chen-Chen,” 17, were negotiating a national road when their vehicle hit a parked truck in Barangay San Juan at 7:10 p.m., the Quezon police reported on Thursday, Dec. 26.
Due to the strong impact of the collision, both riders suffered grave injuries and were taken to a local hospital, but Leonard died while on the way there.

The report did not also state whether or not the riders were wearing crash helmets, which is required by the Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009.
About a year later, all that optimism disappeared into thin air, along with its Greenbelt showroom, which was once a vibrant outlet showcasing different e-scooter models. This space—meant to attract heavy foot traffic—has been padlocked very recently.
